History
Patmont Motor Werks was founded in 1985 when inventor Steve Patmont built the first motorized scooter in his garage, later branding it the Go-Ped. By 1989, Patmont Motor Werks outgrew the garage and into multiple warehouses in Livermore, California, where Patmont Motor Werks and Go-Ped have experienced continued growth, innovation and success over the past 16 years as the leading creator and innovator behind the highest quality motorized, electric and self-powered personal transport devices. As a family owned and operated California company, Go-Ped's diverse products are inspired and designed to capture the fun, free and trend-setting spirit that is the very essence of the individualistic lifestyle.
